By accepting these terms and conditions, a binding agreement shall be placed between you and Lensman Photography & Film Institute.

By accepting these terms, you agree to pay the course fee for the course you have selected under this Student Agreement. Upon receipt of the Course Fee, Lensman Photography & Film Institute agrees to:

1. Provide you with all modules and assignments for your Course.
2. Allocate a tutor to you at the time of enrolment who will be with you as an instructor while you are enrolled as a student. This tutor will be your contact and if your tutor is absent during this time, a substitute tutor will always be available.
3. Mark and grade your assignments.
4. Answer queries about your Course.
5. Issue certification upon successfully completing all assignments.

The Course Fee does not cover any materials that are not listed as Course Materials for your Course. Lensman Photography & Film Institute notes that you may need to provide your own equipment in addition to the Course Materials at your cost, i.e. the Camera and related accessories. Subject to successful completion of all assignments and the Course Fee being paid in full, Lensman Photography & Film Institute will issue you a Certificate of Completion for your Course.

Course Materials will be available to you as you progress through the Course and submit your assignments. Lensman Photography & Film Institute reserves the right to withhold provision of Course Materials in the event of you failing to pay any part of the Course Fee as and when it becomes payable. If your payment is by EMI, you must pay all such instalments on or before the due date.

Irrespective of your progress through the Course, if you fail to pay any instalment by the due date, the total outstanding balance of the Course Fee will become immediately due and payable.

The Institute reserves the right to request payment if you are progressing through the course faster than your payment plan. After completing 75% of the course, the total outstanding balance of the course fees will become immediately due and payable.

You may examine the first two modules and first assignment with absolutely no obligation for 7 days from your enrolment date. If you decide for any reason whatsoever not to proceed, email the institute within the seven days on a further suggestion.

If you selected a payment plan upon enrolment, you will remain responsible for all outstanding payments on each due date until the agreed course fees have been paid in full.

The Course is not transferable to another person.

The Course Materials, which Lensman Photography & Film Institute provides to you shall become your sole property. However, the content of the Course Materials, including copyright and all other such intellectual property rights contained therein, remain exclusively the property of Lensman Photography & Film Institute or a nominated third party. You may not reproduce any part of the Course Materials without the prior written permission of Lensman Photography & Film Institute.

The institute does not accept any form of plagiarism. If there is evidence of plagiarism in any of your assignment submissions, Lensman Photography & Film Institute reserves the right to remove you from the course without prior notice.

The course can be completed in 24 weeks but you may take up to one year to finish your studies. Extensions beyond this are available if required and requested, although Lensman Photography & Film Institute reserves the right to charge a fee for extensions.

Lensman Photography & Film Institute accepts no responsibility in the event of any third party offerings or discounts being revoked by the party involved.

Persons under the age of 16 are not eligible to enroll in this course.

The Advanced Modules

The Advanced Modules are only available to be purchased by students who have completed the first two assignments of the Lensman Photography & Film Institute course successfully. The Institute will allow you an extra six months to complete the course and Advanced Module upon purchase of any Advanced Module.

As each Advanced Module is only one module and one assignment, there are no refunds or facility to swap these purchases.

Subject to successful completion of the advanced assignments, Lensman Photography & Film Institute will issue you a Certificate of Achievement for completion of any Advanced Module. These certificates will only be available by downloading them from the student site, and there will be no option for them to be sent to you.
